Monthly Meetings

   The Berea Power Squadron holds monthly membership meetings every month except July and August. The meetings are "town hall" style meetings, where all members are invited to attend and participate. At the meetings, we discuss operation of the squadron and and debate the various issues that we need to tackle to make Berea Squaron work. The meetings take place at the Berea Elks Lodge (map) on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm (1930 hours). After we adjourn the meeting, we reconvene in the Elks Lodge bar for social hour.

   If you would like to brush up on our meeting protocol, we use Parliamentary Procedure. While it may seem a little formal and stuffy, Parliamentary procedure is used to conduct debate with the least possible friction in order to as efficiently as possible make group decisions.
